First performing in 2002, the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit volunteer organization built around a community of musicians and music lovers. Our musicians span generations and experience levels, including local music educators, performers from non-musical industries, and high school students.
Our May 17, 2026 Pops Concert is Maestro Richard Chiarappa’s grand finale as Music Director of the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra. You can join us in congratulating him on founding our wonderful community musical institution and leading it for more than two decades. Click here to send him a congratulatory message that will appear in our May program booklet: Congratulate Maestro Chiarappa
